Terms of service
This document sets out what we do for you, what you need to do, when a job can be postponed or cancelled, and how problems on site get resolved. Please read it before you book: booking means you accept these terms.
Where anything here conflicts with what was agreed in writing on the work order, the work order prevails.
Scope of the service, and our role
KASET GEN-Y (เกษตร เจนวาย) provides three services through this website, its online marketplace system and LINE:
- Taking bookings for spraying, fertilizer spreading and field survey services using agricultural aircraft, then matching each job with a Farm Hub and a pilot in the area
- Selling agricultural products and agricultural aircraft
- Recruiting and looking after a partner network, including online franchises, subdistrict franchises and Farm Hubs
Spraying work in the field is carried out by Farm Hubs and pilots in our network, whose documents have been checked and who have registered with us before taking jobs. We take the job, set the work standards, schedule the queue, follow up on the work, and are responsible to you as the contractor for that job.
If a job has a separate contract or work order, that document applies together with these terms, and if the two conflict, the document specific to that job prevails.
Accepting these terms, and when the contract forms
When you book a service, place a product order, or confirm a job with our staff via LINE or by phone, you are deemed to have read and agreed to these terms.
A booking is not a confirmed job until our staff reply to confirm the slot, because slots depend on whether pilots and drones in your area are available on that day. If the slots are full, we will offer you a new date to choose from.
The person booking must be the owner of the plot, or a person authorised by the owner to order the work.
Booking, pricing and payment
- How fees are charged
- Spraying fees are charged by the number of rai, according to the package you choose. Travel costs and the cost of the substances are charged as separate items. You will always see the full total before you confirm the job.
- Minimum area
- Some packages have a minimum area per trip. If your plot is smaller than that, we charge the minimum amount, and we will tell you before you confirm the job.
- Measuring the actual area
- If the actual area on site differs from what you told us, the fee is adjusted to the area actually sprayed. The pilot will tell you before starting work whenever they find that it differs from the booking.
- Deposit
- Some jobs require a deposit before the slot is locked in, especially large-area jobs or jobs where substances must be ordered in advance. Staff will always tell you the deposit amount and the payment due date first, and no deduction will be made from the deposit while the slot has not been confirmed.
- Payment methods
- Transfer to the service provider's account as advised by our staff, then send a photo of the transfer slip into the system. Please transfer only to an account that has been officially given to you. If you are not sure, call to confirm using a number on our Contact us page before every transfer.
- Receipts
- A receipt can be requested for every job. Let our staff know when you confirm the job.
Postponement for weather and force majeure
Aerial spraying depends directly on wind and rain. Forcing a flight in unsuitable weather makes the spray drift outside the plot, wastes the product, and puts neighbouring plots at risk. We therefore postpone jobs when the weather is unsafe or would make the work ineffective.
- The pilot on site makes the final decision on whether it is possible to fly, because they can see the actual conditions at the plot.
- When a job is postponed because of the weather, we will set a new date as soon as possible, without charging a postponement fee and without forfeiting the deposit.
- If the pilot has already reached the plot and the weather changes so that flying is not possible, we will not charge the service fee for work not yet sprayed, but we reserve the right to charge actual travel costs in some cases, which we will tell you about first.
- Other force majeure events, such as floods, disasters, government flight bans, or anything that makes the area inaccessible, are handled on the same principle.
If your job is urgent and you accept the risk to its effectiveness yourself, please tell our staff in advance so that this can be recorded as an agreement for that job.
Cancelling a job, and refunds
You may cancel or postpone a job by telling our staff via LINE or by phone as soon as possible. The earlier you tell us, the more likely the slot can be given to someone else in time, and the less likely any costs will arise.
- Cancellation notified in advance, before the deadline set in the work order — the deposit is refunded in full
- Notice given so late that the pilot cannot rearrange the queue in time, or after the substances have already been ordered — the costs actually incurred may be deducted
- The pilot has reached the plot but cannot work for reasons on the customer’s side, such as people still in the plot, no one there to point out the plot, or wrong coordinates given — actual travel costs may be charged
- The service provider cancels the job itself, or cannot find a pilot — all money already paid is refunded in full
Refunds are transferred back to the same account you paid from, within the period our staff tell you when the cancellation is agreed.
What you must do as a customer
Aerial spraying is safe and effective only when the information we receive matches reality. A single error can lead to spraying the wrong plot or hitting an obstacle. You therefore have the following duties:
- Give the correct plot boundaries
- Drop the pin or point out the plot boundaries so that they match the plot that will actually be sprayed, state the real size of the area, and clearly point out where it borders neighbouring plots.
- State the crop and its growth stage
- For example, how many days old the rice is, how tall the sugarcane is, or what stage the cassava is at, because this affects the spray rate and the flying height.
- State the substances to be used, and those recently used
- Give the name of the substance and the rate you want to use, and tell us what you sprayed recently and when. Some substances cannot be mixed and can damage crops.
- Point out obstacles in the plot
- Power lines, electricity poles, signal towers, tall trees, water towers, nets, wire cables, or anything else above the ground of the plot.
- Point out sensitive areas nearby
- Fish ponds, shrimp ponds, animal pens, beehives, organic farm plots, water sources used for drinking and household use, homes, and schools near the plot.
- Clear the area before spraying
- Get people, pets and vehicles out of the plot and the surrounding area before work starts, and do not enter the plot until the pilot says it is safe.
- Have someone to point out the plot on site
- Make sure that you or your representative is at the plot, or can be reached by phone, throughout the work.
- Rights to the land
- You confirm that you have the right to order spraying on that plot and that you have reasonably informed your neighbours.
Substances sprayed, and safety
- Substances to be sprayed must be legally registered, and must not have had their registration revoked or their use banned by the government.
- We reserve the right to refuse to spray illegal substances, unlabelled substances, substances pre-mixed with an unknown composition, or substances the pilot considers a safety risk.
- If the customer supplies the substances, the customer is responsible for the correct type of substance, the mixing rate, and its suitability for the crop.
- The pre-harvest safety interval stated on the substance label must always be observed. The customer is responsible for this.
- Do not allow unauthorised persons, children or pets into the plot during spraying, or after spraying until the safety period on the label has passed.
Used substance containers must be handled according to the label instructions and the relevant laws. Do not dispose of them in any water source.
Work standards, and evidence of work done
What we commit to doing on every job:
- Show you an itemised breakdown of the service charges before you confirm the job
- Tell you when the pilot sets off and when they arrive at the plot
- Take photos before and after spraying, and record the coordinates and the working time
- Send you a job summary when the work is done, stating the area actually sprayed, the substances used, and who did the work
- Use only pilots and drones whose documents have been checked and that are registered in the system
Job photos and data are kept so that they can be checked later. Details of how data is kept and used are in our Privacy policy.
If a job fails, or damage occurs
If a job does not go as agreed — for example, the whole area was not sprayed, the same spot was sprayed twice leaving other parts missed, a substance other than the one ordered was used, or damage was caused by the pilot's work — please do the following:
- Tell us as soon as possible after you find the problem, with photos of the affected area. The sooner you tell us, the more precisely we can check.
- We will check using the before-and-after photos, the coordinates and the working times, and will ask the pilot who did the job.
- If the fault is found to be on our side, we will re-spray the missed part at no extra charge, or refund in proportion to the work not done, whichever suits the damage.
- If the damage is beyond what re-spraying can fix, compensation will be considered case by case, based on the damage that can actually be proven.
Please note: how well a substance works against disease and pests depends on many factors outside our control, such as the type and stage of the pest, the weather after spraying, watering, and the plot's history of substance use. Pests not decreasing is therefore not, on its own, sufficient evidence that the spraying was faulty.
Limits of liability
We are responsible for damage that is a direct result of faults in our work, or in the work of the pilots we assign, as can be proven.
We are not responsible in the following cases:
- Damage caused by information from the customer that was incomplete or untrue
- The effectiveness of substances that the customer chose or supplied, and the effects of mixing substances on the customer’s instructions
- Expected yield or income, which depends on factors beyond our control
- Damage from force majeure, natural disasters, government orders, or events reasonably beyond our control
- Damage that occurs after the customer or anyone else enters the plot before the safety period on the substance label has passed
The limitations above do not take away consumer rights protected by law, and do not apply to cases caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Ordering products through the website
- Prices and stock
- Prices and product availability on the website may change. If a product runs out or its price changes after you place an order, our staff will always tell you first, and you can choose to confirm or cancel.
- Order confirmation
- An order is complete once our staff have confirmed the items and the amount to pay with you.
- Delivery
- Delivery time depends on the destination and the delivery company. Please check the condition of the parcel in front of the courier, and take photos straight away if you find any damage.
- Defective or wrong items
- Tell us as soon as possible, with photos. We will replace the product or refund you.
- Warranty
- Products with a manufacturer's warranty are covered by that manufacturer's conditions. Keep the receipt and the box until the warranty period has ended.
Using the system and your account
The system is linked to your LINE account. Please do not let anyone else use your account to order work. If you find work ordered that is not yours, tell us immediately.
The system must not be used for the following:
- Making fake bookings, making repeat bookings to hold slots, or giving false information to get a lower price than the true one
- Sending information or images that are illegal, infringe the rights of others, or are unrelated to the job
- Trying to break into the system, pulling large amounts of data automatically, or disrupting how the system works
- Contacting pilots to persuade them to take jobs outside the system, which means you are not protected under these terms
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that break the rules above, and will tell you the reason.

Changes to these terms, and governing law
We may amend these terms when our services change, and will publish the amended version on this page. A job whose slot has already been confirmed is governed by the version in effect on the date that job was confirmed.
These terms are governed by Thai law, and the Thai courts have jurisdiction over any dispute that arises. Before taking a matter to court, both parties agree to first try to negotiate in good faith.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts stay in effect.
